A network rack is a key part of the structured network, as it promotes the physical security of your equipment and respective connections to the rest of the infrastructure.
It consists of a cabinet where the active equipment of the internal network and the external communication input equipment are normally assembled. In general, the computer backstage are metallic, wall or floor, in aluminum or steel plate, with paint or anticorrosive treatment. They can have side panels. They come in different sizes (width, height and depth) and the height is usually specified in rack units (U unit, each unit corresponding to 44.55 mm).
